CA Magazine picks up another award!

Last Thursday’s PPA Scotland Awards proved to be a good night for CA Magazine.
Last week I was at the Scottish Magazine Awards, hosted by the Periodical Publishers Association, where CA Magazine was on the shortlist for four of the PPA’s awards. The range of different publications was incredible, with titles covering anything from flower arranging to rock’n roll. I was delighted to pick up the award for Editor of the Year (Business & Professional).
It goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, that an award like this reflects a team effort by a lot of people, so thanks to all those who have worked so hard over the past two years to take CA Magazine to the next level, including my colleagues at Connect Communications, ICAS and the many contributors to the magazine. You don’t get the chance to make that speech on stage (it’s not the Oscars), so it’s good to have the opportunity to say “thanks”.
It's also great to have some confirmation from the publishing industry that our work has all been worth it.

Our sister title, The Journal, was shortlisted in the Member Magazine of the Year category. Next year we’ll be looking to come away with even more!
