A round up of who's on the move in the profession

Jock lennox

Ernst & Young partner Jock Lennox is retiring from the firm as from 31 March next year. Lennox, a member of the Council of ICAS will take on a non-executive directorship at high-tech business Oxford Instruments. He has been a partner at E&Y since 1988. He is also a trustee of Golden Lane Housing, the property arm of Mencap.

• Accountancy firm French Duncan has appointed Steve Wright as business development director. The firm has also appointed Louise Henderson as marketing executive.

• ICAS has appointed Hugh Shields CA to the part-time post of chief economic adviser.

• Begbies Traynor, the corporate recovery and insolvency firm, has announced that Birgitte Ovesen is joining Begbies Global Network as executive director, from Morison International

• Graeme Henry, has joined the international law firm, HBJ Gateley Wareing, as a partner in its Edinburgh office, specialising in corporate recovery and restructuring. He has been with Melville Capital, the Edinburgh private investment house.

• Lloyds TSB Scotland has appointed Graham Arnold CA, as associate director of acquisition finance.
