Achievement award for Sir Brian Stewart

Miller Group chairman and CA Sir Brian Stewart was recognised for 'outstanding achievement' at this year's Scottish Accountancy Awards
Sir Brian, who is also a board member of Standard Life, was formerly chairman at brewing giant Scottish & Newcastle.
Ernst & Young, Johnston Carmichael and Anderson Anderson & Brown were the winners in the large, medium and small firm categories. Hywel Ball, senior partner for Ernst & Young in Scotland, said of the achievement: “I feel immensely proud of what we have achieved over the last couple of years, particularly through some of the most demanding economic conditions in history … this is praise indeed for all the hard work and energy the team has invested in our clients.”
