'Tache task

Leading private equity players donned fake 'taches to launch an entry for the TacheBack campaign, urging the industry to grow a moustache in September and help raise £300,000 to fight prostate and testicular cancer on behalf of the Everyman Marie Curie Campaign

The plan is to get everyone connected with the industry, from corporate financiers, bankers, lawyers, and accountants, to due diligence staff and other service providers to raise sponsorship by growing a moustache, or to sponsor someone in their organisation to do so.
Invex’s Alan Greenberg, the driving force behind the scheme, commented: “Everyone associated with private equity and the advisory community is being called on to support this campaign. The target for TacheBack is £300,000 and I think our industry could really help smash this.”
Spokeswoman for Everyman, Sarah Healy, said: “We’re delighted that the private equity community is joining forces to support TacheBack. If we hit our fundraising target, the cumulative total raised since its launch in 2003 will be over £1m.”
